For instance, you should wash horizontally at the top and bottom of the window, and while at the sides, you should clean vertically. This will ensure that the window film is kept in place and looking lovely. If you have a larger window, it may have a seam on it somewhere. In this case, keep an eye out for the possible seam as you clean the window and wash in the same direction the seam runs to avoid lifting the edge.
